St. Luke's Hospital, a 532 bed acute care hospital, is looking for an ambitious BC/BE maternal-fetal medicine physician to help build a perinatology program as part of UnityPoint Health in eastern Iowa. St. Luke's hosts one of the best level III NICUs worldwide, with morbidity and mortality rates for very low birth weight babies consistently among the best quartile worldwide, taking care of neonates 23 weeks gestation and up. This position has strong administrative support both from St. Luke's and our affiliated referral and outreach hospitals in eastern Iowa such as Allen Hospital in Waterloo and the Trinity Hospitals in the Quad Cities, resulting in an extensive catchment area. The program can be molded from the ground up by an entrepreneurial physician.
